Removing the Cap

 

When removing the cap after use make sure you are wearing a gas mask and heavy gloves. The cap can get very hot and there will be residual chemical agent in the body of the ram.

Twist the cap in a counter clockwise direction to dislodge it. It should be easy to unscrew. Once off the body the grenade and fuse can be removed from the cap and discarded or saved. Never leave expended canisters or fuses laying around. Never store Cap with grenade and/or fuse attached.

Step One - unscrew the cap

Step Two - Remove fuse

Step Three - Remove canister

Step Four - Dispose of used canister and fuse
